This eBook is no longer available. Coming back in 2016!
You know those huge events in life where you circle the date on the calendar in big red ink and cross off every day leading up to it? Well this is that day for me! I’ve been working so hard on creating and writing this Stay at Home Mom Survival Kit for so long that I can hardly believe it’s finally time to release it!
So, why would I put all that work into an eBook like this? Well, let me take you back to May of this year. I had been a working Mom for the first year and half of our son’s life and knew deep down it wasn’t right for me. I needed to be a stay at home mom.
Little did I know that it would be one of the hardest jobs of my life.
I struggled to keep organized and felt like my time was being wasted constantly trying to figure out how to best spend it. Without having a proper plan in place I would get bored and spend money, so our finances were becoming out of control. Jordan seemed to be getting bored all the time, but I wasn’t very good at getting activities together for him and worst of all, my chaotic schedule was causing me to miss appointments! This was too hard!
I needed a system to organize my entire life, but the internet only provided random bits of information that didn’t work together. Sure, I could find a budget here, a calendar there, a few activity pages, and some meal planning checklists, but they were from so many different sources that they only added to the chaos in my life.
So, I made my own library of printable pages and called it the Stay at Home Mom Survival Kit! My goal was to build a collection of pages that flow seamlessly through every aspect of running a household by using similar formatting and concepts.
It has changed my life!
- I am way more productive with my day because I am able to plan it out on paper which gives me a clear direction to go.
- Our house stays cleaner with the help of checklists to keep me on track.
- I only clean about 15-30 minutes a day, with one swing day and feel totally comfortable when people drop by unannounced.
- We saved over $600.00 last month due to better budgeting!
- We ate for under $250 last month with the help of the meal planning pages.
- Planning for vacations and activities is now an enjoyable process, rather than being stressful.
These are just some of the more objective ways the SAHM SK has helped me, but on a deeper level I feel so much happier having a better handle on life. It’s amazing the difference a little organization can do. I sleep better at night, I eat healthier, and am honestly a different woman and that’s partly because of this eBook.
I truly made this eBook for myself, but since it’s made such an impact on our lives, I decided to share it with the world! I’ve developed a passion for helping other Moms that find themselves in my situation of wanting what’s best for their families but feel dragged down by the weight and difficulty of the job they face. I understand how hard of a job it is and want to help in any way possible.
This is just the start of making my dream of helping Moms a reality. I have so many plans and have already started working on future products like a massive holiday planner coming in October (just in time, right?) and a super cute weekly planner for 2016 to make it an amazing year (coming end of December…great Christmas present!). That’s just to name a few ideas.
