Wicker Transformation

We had this large beautiful deck, but not a lot to put on it. It quickly became my favorite spot to drink coffee and read my Bible in the morning, so it was obvious we were going to need some softer seating.
Being the tight wad that I am, buying deck furniture didn’t really even cross my mind (ok well, it crossed, and I looked at prices, but then that thought was erased). So, I hit the garage sales. Roanoke has wonderful town wide garage sales every fall and spring. I was driving along and spotted them. Two somewhat dejected, in need of some TLC wicker chairs with cushions. The people selling them were from my church and gave me a great deal on them.

I knew as soon as I saw them that I would spray paint them and the color would be the yellow from the cushion. It took 4 cans of paint to do 2 coats on each.
I love the way they turned out! They are so bright and cheery and very comfortable for my morning coffee and devotions.
Cost: about $12.00 for the spray paint. $30.00 for the chairs
Time: 2 hours
